中国人民解放军国防科技大学（国防科技大学，National University of Defense Technology），于1953年创建，坐落于湖南省长沙市，前身是哈尔滨的中国人民解放军军事工程学院，由中国共产党中央军事委员会直属，位列第一个五年计划国家156项重点建设工程、211工程、985工程、双一流、军队“2110工程”。 该校为中共中央1959年确定的全国20所重点大学之一、国务院首批批准有权授予硕士及博士学位的院校、全国首批试办研究生院的院校。该校于1970年，学院主体南迁长沙，改名为长沙工学院。1978年，学校在邓小平的直接关怀下改建为国防科学技术大学。1999年，江泽民签署命令组建新的国防科学技术大学。2017年，学校以国防科学技术大学、国际关系学院、国防信息学院、西安通信学院、电子工程学院，以及理工大学气象海洋学院为基础重建，校本部设在长沙，内设学院位于长沙、南京、武汉、合肥等地。

The Chinese people's liberation army National University of Defense Technology (National University of Defense Technology, National University of Defense Technology), founded in 1953, is located in changsha city of hunan province, formerly known as Harbin military engineering institute of the Chinese people's liberation army, by the communist party of China directly under the central military commission, at the top of the first five-year plan National 156 key construction projects, 211 projects, 985 projects, double top, the army "2110 project". It is one of the 20 national key universities designated by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China in 1959, one of the first universities authorized by the State Council to grant master's and doctor's degrees, and one of the first universities to establish pilot graduate schools in China. In 1970, the main body of the college moved to Changsha and was renamed Changsha Institute of Technology. In 1978, under the direct care of Deng Xiaoping, the university was transformed into the National University of Defense Technology. In 1999, President Jiang signed an order to establish the new National University of Defense Technology. In 2017, the university was rebuilt on the basis of the National University of Defense Technology, the School of International Relations, the Institute of National Defense Information, Xi 'an University of Communication, the College of Electronic Engineering, and the School of Meteorology and Oceanography, University of Science and Technology. The university's headquarters is located in Changsha, and its internal schools are located in Changsha, Nanjing, Wuhan, Hefei and other places.
